George has over 25 years experience in directing and managing companies in both the public and private sectors and is the founder of hoppr. He has extensive knowledge, skills and experience in board management of ASX listed companies as well as acquisitions, mergers and divestments. With his highly developed forecasting, analytical, leadership and change management skills, George founded and grew the company B Digital Ltd. After becoming the largest Mobile Virtual Network Operator business in Australia and growing the customer base to over 700,000 worldwide, George successfully expanded the business into South Africa and the USA.
Jason Hewson Chief Technology Officer
Jason has spent over 25 years specialising in Design, Systems Architecture, Integration and Systems Delivery in the IT sector. Having designed and delivered complex technical solutions for some of the biggest companies in Australia (including AMP, Citibank, Bunnings and many government intuitions in Australia), he advanced his skills further by working internationally on London Underground and MI5 projects. Now based back in Australia, Jason is the technical brains behind the hoppr organisation and is always at the forefront of cloud computing, technical progression of our products and providing the best UX/UI for all users of hoppr technology.
Emilia Ong Chief Revenue Officer
Having most recently held the role as Head of Content Partnerships for Google in APAC, Emilia has extensive experience in successfully helping media and Internet companies grow their businesses.
She has led an international team in strategic partnerships, business development and management of accounts spanning ad serving technologies, advertising inventory monetization and content distribution via Google’s owned and operated properties. In her 9 years with Google, she has worked on strategic partnerships across many areas including YouTube, Google+ and AdSense. Prior to joining Google, Emilia was at Nortel Networks as the Head of Business Operation Asia Pacific. There, she worked on strategy, operations, and new business formation, particularly in mobile Internet. Before that, she spent two years in Tokyo working closely with Softbank BB on their 3G strategy.
Alastair Mackenzie General Manager – Commercial
Alastair has significant experience in commercialising digital advertising technologies and platforms. Over nine years, he has focused on areas of commercial development and management, digital change management and strategy, digital campaign management and general business management. Previously at Seven West Media, Alastair has spent the last four years negotiating and implementing commercial partnerships with some of the leading advertising technologies and platforms in the market, including programmatic platforms and partners, mobile first technology partners, search technology platforms and content promotion platforms.
Michelle Foulkes Senior Marketing Coordinator
With over eight years’ experience in the marketing and advertising sector, Michelle brings experience in account management, media campaign planning, strategy and execution. Her previous roles have seen her work with a varied list of clients, ranging from publicly listed multi-national organisations, State and Federal Government departments to local not-for-profit foundations. During this time, she has helped shape successful strategies, from idea through to execution across multiple channels including traditional, digital and social platforms. Her ability to look beyond what is being said and what is not, ensures hoppr’s marketing strategy is executed on point.
Neil Harrison General Manager – Customer Experience
Neil brings over 25 years’ experience in both the sales and service industries and is a Satmetrix ® Certified Net Promoter Associate with significant knowledge of managing award-winning Contact / Support Centres both domestically and internationally. He has improved operational efficiency and performance, customer loyalty, retention, and staff satisfaction whilst also achieving reductions in both costs and customer churn for a wide range of businesses. A firm believer that employee engagement is the foundation of great customer experience, Neil is an expert and well-respected figure within the Contact Centre community as well as an accomplished public speaker who shares his experiences, ideas and methodologies both domestically and internationally.
