George has over 25 years experience in directing and managing companies in both the public and private sectors and is the founder of hoppr. He has extensive knowledge, skills and experience in board management of ASX listed companies as well as acquisitions, mergers and divestments. With his highly developed forecasting, analytical, leadership and change management skills, George founded and grew the company B Digital Ltd. After becoming the largest Mobile Virtual Network Operator business in Australia and growing the customer base to over 700,000 worldwide, George successfully expanded the business into South Africa and the USA.
Mr Pizzica brings with him a wealth of experience from across the public and private sector. He is a seasoned executive and company director with over 30 years of experience which includes recent success in strategy consulting as well as Csuite roles at multibillion-euro global corporation, Technicolor SA (formerly Thomson SA). Mr Pizzicia’s unique blend of marketing and tactical skills, together with his highly qualified engineering and technical background has been the cornerstone for an esteemed career.
He is a Non-Executive Chairman of Bebop Technology, a Non-Executive Board Member, Chair of R&D Sub Committee – MediaKind, and a Non-Executive Member of the Board of Electrosonic. Previously, Mr Pizzicia has held senior positions at Telstra (GM technology Group) and Alcatel Mobile (CTO).

Michelle Guthrie is one of Australia’s top media executives with extensive experience leading and shaping both traditional and emerging media companies.
Ms Guthrie is the former Managing Director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) where she oversaw a significant expansion of the public broadcaster’s digital footprint.
An established business executive and lawyer, Ms Guthrie has amassed considerable experience across the media landscape including time at Google, Foxtel and Hong Kong-based network Star TV.

Zane has over 20 years of corporate advisory experience with various ASX and AIM listed companies and is a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
He has undertaken various corporate advisory roles with ASX listed companies and unlisted companies and has extensive international experience as President of Commtech Wireless Group of software companies in USA, Europe, Hong Kong, China, and Australia.

Piers has over 20 years of corporate advisory experience with various ASX and AIM listed companies and is a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia. In 2001, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte (Perth), and brings extensive and diverse financial and corporate experience from previous senior management roles with Credit Suisse (London); Mizuho International, ABN Amro, and NAB Capital.
He is also a Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary for a number of ASX Listed companies, including Dawine Limited, Grange Resources Limited, Cycliq Group Limited and Ultima United Limited.
Chief Executive Officer
Cyril Daoud is leading Hoppr’s global expansion drawing on more than 20 years’ experience at the highest levels of telecommunications deal making and technology development.
With a Masters in Engineering from Telecom Paris and an Executive Leadership diploma from the London Business School, Mr Daoud is a seasoned business leader who deeply understands the technical and strategic elements of taking businesses to profitability in emerging markets.
He has held senior roles across the industry, including VP of Network Sales at media giant Technicolor, one of Hoppr’s key strategic partners for expanding its global footprint.
Chief Technical Officer
Jason has spent over 25 years specialising in Design, Systems Architecture, Integration and Systems Delivery in the IT sector. Having designed and delivered complex technical solutions for some of the biggest companies in Australia (including AMP, Citibank, Bunnings and many government institutions), he advanced his skills further by working internationally on London Underground and MI5 projects.
Now based back in Australia, Jason is the technical brains behind the hoppr organisation and is always at the forefront of cloud computing, the technical progression of our products and providing the best UX/UI for all users of hoppr technology.
Chief Revenue Officer
Emilia has more than 20 years of experience in the Media, Internet and Telecommunications space.
An experienced leader, Emilia has a proven track record of driving global growth and scalability. In her 9 years with Google, she led an international team in strategic partnerships and business development across ad serving technologies, content distribution and mobile among others.
Prior to joining Google, Emilia spent many years in the Telecommunications industry in various senior positions spanning strategy, operations and engineering.
Chief Operating Officer
Jarod is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in the accounting and finance industry for more than 20 years. He has previously worked with Ernst & Young, Gooding Partners Chartered Accountants and spent time working in the UK and Europe. After returning to Perth he spent 9 years in a private family office during which time he gained experience across industries including television and film production, aviation, domestic and international property, commercial aquaculture, construction, corporate healthcare and finance. Jarod was most recently the Financial Controller at Wabtec Control Systems. He is a Director and Shareholder of Clear Corporate Solutions, a Director of the Azure Capital Foundation, and a Director of Surf Life Saving Western Australia.
Chief Strategy Officer
Chris has over 35 years international
experience developing strategy to drive rapid business development and growth
in a diverse range of industries. He has proven experience in B2B and B2C in
businesses at varying stages of maturity, startup to established multinationals. He has been the
CEO of a number
GM of business marketing for a large multinational telco and recently
concentrated on working extensively in capital markets providing strategy on
mergers, acquisitions, turnarounds and future direction.
James has over 19 years’ experience in systems analysis and programming and has a demonstrated career in the financial industry. James has grown his skills in quality assurance, software development, systems analysis, and software project management in the Australian and European markets. He is a strong business development professional who holds a Bachelor of Business, focused in Information Systems.
Senior Marketing Coordinator
With over eight years experience in the marketing and advertising sector, Michelle brings experience in account management, media campaign planning, strategy and execution. Her previous roles have seen her work with a varied list of clients, ranging from publicly listed multi-national organisations, State and Federal Government departments to local not-for-profit foundations. During this time, she has helped shape successful strategies, from idea through to execution across multiple channels including traditional, digital and social platforms.
Her ability to look beyond what is being said and what is not, ensures hoppr’s marketing strategy is executed on point.
Brenton brings over 12 years’ experience in sales, marketing and management to the hoppr team, providing a diverse range of skills in customer relations, strategic business growth, inventory control and operations management. With a formal education in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, his previous roles have seen him successfully manage a wide range of SME’s and nationally recognised businesses in Australia and internationally.
General Manager – Customer Experience
Neil brings over 25 years experience in both the sales and service industries, and is a Satmetrix® Certified Net Promoter Associate with significant knowledge of managing award-winning Contact/Support Centres both domestically and internationally. He has improved operational efficiency and performance, customer loyalty, retention, and staff satisfaction whilst also achieving reductions in both costs and customer churn for a wide range of businesses.
A firm believer that employee engagement is the foundation of great customer experience, Neil is an expert and well-respected figure within the Contact Centre community as well as an accomplished public speaker who shares his experiences, ideas and methodologies both domestically and internationally.
Kevin has over 25-years’ experience in IT with an extensive range of skills from building trading systems in New York and London to writing Geospatial software for road mapping networks in Australia.
Currently Kevin is a full stack Senior Developer/Analyst for all things hoppr Mobile and TV. He designs the client/server architecture, building mobile clients, administrations portals (Angular) and Cloud computing environments in Google Cloud and Firebase.
Head of People & Culture
Renée’s HR career spans over 20 years having worked across varied regions including Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her early career benefited from working alongside Entrepreneur, Richard Branson, who played an integral part in shaping Renee’s philosophy on successfully engaging people.
More recently, Renée was based in Dubai UAE where she held a Global Executive Talent role for Luxury Hotel Group, Jumeirah which employs over 13,500 people worldwide.
Renee has represented her region in global project teams led out of Paris to design purpose built HR & Talent Software and has assessed the technical capability of companies like Oracle, Salesforce and SAP.
Joining as Head of People & Culture for Hoppr, Renee brings a fresh new take on Human Resources and will drive the People Strategy as Hoppr evolves into a leading advertising technology business with a global footprint.
